Description
Français : Plaque commémorative sur le bâtiment de la Police Municipale, esplanade Jean-Marie Louvel à Caen (Calvados) «Du 1er au 7 mai 1942, l'armée d'occupation rassembla en ce lieu cent vingt otages caennais et calvadosiens par représailles à des actions victorieuses de la Résistance. D'abord internés à Compiegne-Royallieu, la plupart furent déportés le 6 juillet 1942 au camp d'extermination d'Auschwitz-Birkenau ou presque tous succombèrent victimes de la barbarie nazie.»
