  • Dansk: Værkdatering: 1834
  • Dansk: Maleriet blev påbegyndt den 30. juli 1834 og fuldført den 20. september samme år (jf. Eckersbergs dagbog). Dog har han "istandsat og firniseret" maleriet den 17. maj 1835, dvs. efter udstillingen på Charlottenborg (ibid.; citeret i Hannover, 1898, kat.nr. 491).
