Summary[edit]

Description
English: Pistachio fruits on the tree. Pistachios are dioecious with male and female flowers born on separate trees. Male and female trees must be present for fruit to set. Wind carries the pollen from the male to the female flowers. The fruits which contain the edible nuts are borne in heavy clusters somewhat like grapes
