Description
English: CONFLICT IN KOREA: ROK diversionary landing Sept 15 north of Pohang results in disaster but subsequent rescue to 780 ROK commandos after LST runs aground in typhoon weather. Four of seven pix. Each time the Naval gun fire ceased the North Koreans stole back and sniped at the ROKS who were rapidly running out of ammunition. The ROKS sought cover on their broached LST.
