Nederlands: Beeld. Voorouderbeeld met gespreide armen, mogelijk een danshouding. Dit type beeld heeft een wijde verspreiding van Nias en Kalimantan tot in de Filippijnen.
Dit soort beelden heeft een beschermende functie. Het zouden afbeeldingen van de doden kunnen zijn, waarin de ziel een tijdelijk kan dwalen totdat zij naar het rijk van de zielen kan reizen. Ook kunnen het beelden zijn voor de verering van overleden geliefden.. Zwarthouten voorouderbeeld
