| Description |
Bahasa Indonesia: Amsterdamsche poort (Gerbang Amsterdam), disebut juga Pinangpoort (Gerbang Pinang) atau Kasteelpoort. Bangunan ini adalah sisa peninggalan benteng VOC semasa J.P. Coen dan berada di sisi utara. Ketika benteng itu dibongkar pada masa Daendels, gerbang ini dipertahankan hingga berakhirnya kekuasaan Belanda di Batavia. Sepasang patung yang ada adalah patung Dewa Mars dan Dewi Minerva. Kedua patung ini raib ketika pendudukan Jepang. Selanjutnya, bangunan ini dibongkar oleh Pemerintah Indonesia pada tahun 1950 dengan dalih untuk memperlancar lalu-lintas. Tapak bangunan ini adalah di persimpangan Jalan Cengkeh (Prinsenstraat), Jalan Tongkol (Kasteelweg), dan Jalan Nelayan Timur (Amsterdamschegracht) sekarang. Dalam rencana revitalisasi Kota Tua, replika gerbang ini akan dibuat walaupun tidak diketahui apakah akan berada di tapak yang sama
