COIN |
||
Description |
English: An incomplete silver denarius of Julia Maesa, dating to 218-222 AD (Reece Period 10). Mint of Rome. Reverse: PVDICITIA, Pudicitia seated left, pulling veil and holding sceptre. RIC IV, pt 2, p. 50, no. 268. This coin is in relatively good condition, although c. 10% is missing from the edge through the presence of an old break, which has obliterated the first letter of the obverse legend as well as part of the bust. |
