Summary[edit]

Description The magnificent mola mola! The mola mola, or ocean sunfish, is the largest bony fish in the ocean. This one was spotted in south of Santa Barbara Island in Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary by researchers aboard the E/V Nautilus. We've teamed up with Nautilus Live to explore the deep habitats of West Coast national marine sanctuaries -- and you can watch in real time!
