Description
Français : Inscription latine d'époque romaine trouvée à Pontailler-sur-Saône, en remploi dans une église. Il s'agit d'un autel votif dédié à Jupiter par un gradé de l'armée romaine, un bénéficiaire du gouverneur de Germanie Caesernius Statianus; le soldat se nommait Quintus Ta-ius Saturninus. Le texte est daté de l'année 150. Texte latin : « [I(oui)] O(ptimo) M(aximo) / et Genio lo[ci], / Q(uintus) Ta[-]ius / Satu[r]ninu[s] / b(ene)f(iciarius) Caeserni / Statiani / co(n)s(ularis), Galli/cano et Ve/ter co(n)s(ulibus) / u(otum) s(oluit) l(ibens) m(erito). » Références : CIL, XIII, 5609 ; CBI, 176.
