| Description |
El CECUT, Centro Cultural Tijuana, la Bola. Una de las obras arquitectónicas mas significativas del Modernismo Regional Mexicano, del Brutalismo Mexicano, de lo que el Estilo Internacional provoco en México. Diseñado por el Arquitecto Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, se construyo entre 1980 y 1982. "La Bola" es un cine cúpula IMAX, o "Omnimax", el interior le es fiel al exterior. Tristemente, la fuente que rodea a la bola nunca esta funcionando. El interior del museo es un espacio muy inflexible que consiste de varios espacios a desnivel y una rampa continua que se eleva sirviendo como un segundo piso o un segundo nivel, pero la rampa termina en sus dos extremos como caracol. Como edificio esto es una belleza, producto directo de la memoria colectiva Mexicana, como museo fue diseñado para una utopía socialista la cual México nunca llego a ser. |
