Deutsch: Der Ast 116 ist einer der beiden für den Superpanoramic Express gebauten Panoramasteuerwagen. Der Vorgänger Panoramic Express lief ohne Steuerwagen mit einer Lokomotive an der Spitze mit Wagen der ersten und zweiten Klasse. Der 1985 eingeführte Super Panoramic Expres lief mit der Lokomotive in Zugmitte, damit zwei Panoramasteuerwagen und nur Wagen der ersten Klasse. Im Gegensatz zu den Panoramic-Express-Wagen, für die Drehgestelle und Bodenrahmen vorhandener Wagen weitergenutzt wurden, sind die Superpanoramic-Wagen reine Neubauten. Gemeinsam sind beiden Wagenbauarten die typisch schweizerischen eingezogenen, zweiflügeligen Einstiegstüren. Zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt verkehren die Superpanoramic- und Crystal-Panoramic-Wagen schon gemischt unter dem gemeinsamen Namen Golden Pass Panoramic. Die ersten Panoramic-Express-Wagen laufen in den klassischen, zuschlagfreien Schnellzügen im Stundentakt. |
