Summary
[edit]DescriptionC-Tran Carpenter CBW 300 bus 2070 in 1984.jpg |
Bus 2070 of C-Tran (Vancouver, Washington) was a 1984 Carpenter CBW 300, a 30-foot transit bus model. It was photographed in October 1984, laying over at C-Tran's original bus terminal in downtown Vancouver. This off-street terminal closed 10 days later, replaced by the then-new 7th Street Transit Center. The old terminal was located in the southern half of the block bounded by 14th Street, Mill Plain Blvd., Main Street and Broadway (a building has since been constructed on about half of that half-block). Bus 2070 was in the southeast corner of the block, and the intersection of Broadway & Mill Plain is in the background of this photo, which is looking east. No. 2070 was one of 10 Carpenter CBW 300 buses in C-Tran's fleet, built in 1984 and numbered 2060–2065 and 2067–2070. |
