Description
English: C-FTGI Basler BT-67 Turbo-67 (Douglas DC-3 (C-47 Skytrain/Dakota) ALCI Aviation/Bell Geospace Southampton 5.1.22

A 78 year old airframe still earning its keep. This fine example has undergone the Basler upgrade in 2008 and was a 3 week visitor to Southampton. During its stay it undertook some Geophysical low flying over Cornwall, gathering data about what is under the ground. On 7 Jan it left on its long fly home to Oshawa near Toronto.

Built in 1943 entered US Army flying as 43-49007.
