(Plaza del Adelantado) 1865-1926

Este busto fue realizado por Miguel Márquez Peñate en homenaje al poeta lagunero que vivió en la Plaza del Doctor Olivera y estudió en el Instituto Canarias. Bajo la figura, realizada a tamaño natural y decorada con detalles de la flora canaria, pueden leerse algunos de sus versos – "que a mis oídos lleguen siempre los gratos ecos de mi tierra"–. La escultura fue inaugurada el 27 de enero de 1952.
