| Description |
This is the ninth portrait of my attempt at the <a href="https://www.flickr.com/groups/100strangers/">100 strangers project</a>. I'd spotted the two girls who I'll be posting as 10 and 11 and was waiting for them to finish taking their own photos before I approached them so I went up to this girl. She was quite interested in why I was taking her photo. We chatted a little about what each of us did and swapped details so I could send her a copy. I've been getting a bit better at sorting out my exposure settings ahead of time; mostly by spot metering off things nearby that approximate skin. I've ruined one stranger shot already but totally blowing out the exposure so now I've become quite aware of it. The photos taking on this day have had very little exposure work in post and I think it shows in the detail and contrast. |
