Summary[edit]
DescriptionBurt Flickinger Athletic Center, Erie Community College, Buffalo, New York - 20200522.jpg |
English: The Burt P. Flickinger Athletic Center, 21 Oak Street at South Division Street, Buffalo, New York, May 2020. Built for the 1993 Summer Universiade as venue for indoor events, the center was named for the heir to the Red & White grocery store chain who spearheaded the effort to bring the games to Buffalo, and later came under the ownership of SUNY Erie Community College, who uses it for their basketball and aquatics programs. It is also the venue for Canisius College's aquatics program and has hosted professional wrestling, boxing, and basketball matches. |
