MAMMOTH WAX BUSH BEAN. The Yosemite, or Monster Wax, is a very distinct Novelty, combining ex- quisite quality and productiveness with enormous size. The mammoth pods average 8 to 10 inches in length, are the thickness of a man's finger, full of fleshy pulp, as shown in the illustration, and of a rich golden color, making a most handsome appearance either on the plant or on the table. We feel sure that the unusual size and handsome waxen appearance will make this giant among Beans a favorite for family gardens and for exhibition. Per package 10 cts.; pint 30 cts.; per quart 60 cts., postpaid, by mail. " THE MOST REMARKABLE OF NEW VEGETABLES." BURPEE'S BUSH LIMA. THE ONLY BUSH FORM OF THE TRUE LARGE LIMA BEAN. Per pkt. 20 cts.; 3 pkts. for 50 cts.; 7 pkts. for ;1.00. See pp. 1, 2 and 3. HENDERSON'S BUSH LIMA BEAN. The illustration below, taken by permission from The Eueal New YoEKER of October 16th, 1889, shows the character of the plant, while the open pod, also accurately reproduced from the Rural New Yorker, shows the natural size of the beans and pods. While the beans are small (being of the Sieva or Sewee type, known in the South as " butter beans,^^) yet they are ready for the table earlier than the Large Lima, and the little pods, growing in clusters, are plentiful. The compact, dwarf bushes are of hardy growth and very prolific, bearing continuously until the end of the season. Each bush generally matures from 40 to 80 pods, while under extra cultivation specimen plants have been raised which bore from 200 to 300 pods. Per pkt. 10 cts.; 3 pkts. for 25 cts.; per pint 30 cts.; quart 60 cts., postpaid. By express, per quart 45 cts.; 2 qts. 85 cts.; 4 qts. ;1.60 ; per peck $3.00.
