Summary[edit]

Description Originally built in 1891, the old Coast Guard Station has several buildings dating to 1891, 1898, and 1938, which were built during its period of operation as an active United States Coast Guard Station. Since closed, the station has been repurposed by the National Park Service for their operations at Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historic Park.
