English: The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr Angela Merkel during a visit to Bremerhaven, Germany. She is being accompanied by the Mayor of Bremerhaven Michael Teiser (on the left) and Thomas Röwekamp, chairman of the CDU in the state of Bremen (on the left next to her) and Dr Hans-Gert Pöttering, the President of the European Parliament. Her visit was part of the election campaign of her party for the elections of the European Parliament on 7 June 2009. Deutsch: Die Bundeskanzlerin der Bundesrepublik Deutschland Dr. Angela Merkel auf dem Weg zu einer Wahlkampfveranstaltung der CDU in Bremerhaven anlässlich der Europawahl am 7. Juni 2009.
