For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Winterstein, Förster mit zahmen Wildtieren ADN-ZB Ludwig-27.6.1980-Zum Beitrag: Von Winterstein und Winterstein - Erlebnisse beim Wandern mit einem thüringer Forstmann. Schon seit siebzehn Jahren geleitet Förster Eckardt Göring viele der alljährlich rund 4 500 Feriengäste Wintersteins in Thüringen bei Wanderungen durch seine Heimat. Dabei haben sie meistens auch Gelegenheit, "Ingo", den alten Jagdhund des Försters, kennenzulernen. Ebenso die Bache "Bessy", das Schwarzkittel-Junge "Moritz" und den Mufflon "Tina". Täglich macht der Förster mit seinen zahmen Vierbeinern einen Waldspaziergang, wobei "Tino" ihm hilft, sie auf "freier Wildbahn" zusammenzuhalten.
