For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Bauarbeiter bei Qualitätskontrolle ADN-ZB Sindermann 16.7.79 Rostock: Zur ADN-Serie "Arbeiter die geschichte machten"- Manfred Böttcher, Meister im Wohnungsbaukombinat Rostock, Mitglied des FDGB-Bundesvorstandes und "Held der Arbeit" hat an allen Rostocker Stadtteilen mitgebaut. Maßgeblich hat der erfahrene Bauarbeiter mitgewirkt, die Slobin-Methode im Bauwesen der DDR einzuführen und durchzusetzen.
