For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Schleiz, Holzrücken ADN-ZB Liebers-6.9.75-Bu Bez. Gera. Mehr Faserholz für die Zellstoffindustrie. Sowjetische Rücketraktoren des Staatlichen Forstwirtschaftsbetriebs Schleiz erleichtern nicht nur die schwere körperliche Arbeit im Wald, sie sind zugleich eine wichtige Voraussetzung, um die Planaufgaben in diesem Industriezweig zu erfüllen. Ihr Einsatz ermöglicht es, die Stämme unzerteilt aus dem Wald an die Abfuhrwege zu schleppen, um sie auf den Ausformplätzen leichter mechanisch zu bearbeiten. So wird eine höhere Arbeitsproduktivität erreicht.
