For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Jugendstunde im Planetarium ADN-ZB Sindermann 19.1.1975 Rostock: 1000. Jugendstunde in Schulsternwarte-"Wir erkennen die Welt und verändern sie", hieß das Thema der 1000. Jugendstunde in der Rostocker Schulsternwarte, an der Schüler aus dem Kreis Ribnitz-Damgarten teilnahmen. Bei Beobachtungen von Himmelserscheinungen -die wie hier am Coude-Refraktor 150-2250 vom Stationsdirektor Günter Weinert erklärt werden- und Gesprächen unter dem "Sternenhimmel" des Planetariums erweitern die Jugendweiheteilnehmer ihre Kenntnisse in Astronomie, wobei ihnen gleichzeitig ein wissenschaftliches Weltbild vermittelt wird.
