Nach der separaten Währungsreform am 18.6.1948 in den Westzonen und im Westsektor Berlins, die einen entscheidenden Schritt zur Spaltung Westdeutschlands bildet, wird am 23. Juni die "Währungsreform" für die sowjetische Besatzungszone und den sowjetischen Sektor Berlins beschlossen
UBz.: Im Hause der Deutschen Wirtschaftskommission, Berlin, Leipziger Straße. Mitarbeiter liefern die mit Kupons überklebten Geldscheine, die als vorläufiges Zahlungsmittel für die Bürger im sowjetischen Sektor Berlins gelten, am Sammeltisch ab.
