Weberin Anita Schmidt bedient konzentriert eine moderne Wirkmaschine. Sie ist Mitglied der Zentralen Parteileitung des VEB Modedruck Gera und hat im Rahmen der Rekonstruktion des Betriebes ihren zweiten Facharbeiterabschluß als Wirkerin erworben. Gemeinsam mit den anderen Werktätigen des Betriebes will sie ihren Beitrag leisten, zum 50. Jahrestag der Gründung der Sowjetunion pflegeleichte Stoffe im Wert von 2,2 Millionen Mark zusätzlich herzustellen.
