For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Thieme-12.5.72-Bez. Karl-Marx-Stadt: Die Zwirnerin Marie Müller arbeitet seit mehr als 10 jahren im Werk Lugau des VEB Kammgarnspinnerei Glauchau und ist die Frau des Vertrauens der Gewerkschaftskolleginnen. "Mariechen" - wie sie von ihren jüngeren Kolleginnen liebevoll genannt wird - wurde am 1. Mai für ihre vorbildliche Leistungen zum vierten Male als Aktivist ausgzeichnet. Ihre Brigade hat sich in dem neu überarbeitetem Wettbewerbsprogramm das Ziel gestellt, bis zum Jahresende 25 Tonnen Garn zusätzlich zu produzieren.
