For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Frühjahrsmesse, Freigelände, Mobildrehkran Zentralbild Sindermann 15.3.71 Leipziger Frühjahrsmesse 1971. Auf dem Freigelände der VVB TAKRAF zeigen die VEB Kirow-Werke Leipzig einen neuentwickelten Mobildrehkran mit einem 150 PS-Dieselmotor. Die von der Firma Gresse & Co. Wittenberg produzierten Verstellspreader ermöglichen das Versetzen von 10- und 20-Fuß-Containern. Mit dem modernen Mobilkran können 2 Container übereinandergestapelt werden, wobei eine Hubhöhe von 2, 9 m bei einer Tragkraft von 20 Tonnen erreicht wird.
