For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Bernau, Gaststudenten aus der VAR Zentralbild Koard 8.6.70 Freundschaft mit der VAR- Bernau-b.Berlin: Schule der Solidarität - würdige Gewerkschaftsvertreter aus der VAR - Selbststudium. Seit 27.4.70 besuchen hervorragende Vertreter der verschiedenen Gewerkschaftsverbände der VAR die Hochschule der Deutschen Gewerkschaften "Fritz Heckert". Sie sind von dem Stand der Entwicklung in der DDR sehr beeindruckt. Unser Foto zeigt sie während des Selbststudiums über gewerkschaftliche Probleme in ihrer Heimat. vlnr: Khalifa Eman Ahmed, Mohamed Soliman Hassan, Halim Girgis Monseur, Kamal Sarhan und Ahme Fawzy.
