For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, DHfK, Sportplatz, Schnellkrafttraining Zentralbild Kluge 28.4.1967-Leipzig: Trainerlehrgang für Ausländer an der DHfK. Die neu erlernte Trainingsmethode zur Stärkung der Schnellkraft für die Sprung- und Laufdisziplinen macht unseren ausländischen Freunden offensichtlich Spaß. Hier trainieren Mfyomi Taschal (Tansania, links) und Steve Thenu (Indonesien). Ein Trainerlehrgang für Ausländer, an dem 88 Sportler aus 14 Ländern teilnehmen, findet zur Zeit an der Deutschen Hochschule für Körperkultur in Leipzig statt. Nach acht Monaten Ausbildung erhalten die Lehrgangsteilnehmer nach bestandener Prüfung das Trainerdiplom. Unterricht wird in sechs Spezialsportarten erteilt.
