Zentralbild-Schmidt Sta-Qu AV.v. 18.7.1963 18.7.1963 Wissenschaftlich-Technisches Zentrum (WTZ) Schmieröle und Schmierstoffe: Sowjetisches Erdöl maximal ausnutzen die Mitarbeiter des Wissenschaftlich-Technischen Zentrums der chemischen Industrie für Schmieröle und Schmierstoffe im Mineralölwerk Lützkendorf treffen umfangreiche Vorbereitungen zur günstigen Verarbeitung des sowjetischen Erdöls, das ihrem Industriezweig künftig aus der internationalen Erdölleitung "Freundschaft" zufließen wird. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Angehörigen der Forschungs- und Entwicklungsstelle des Werkes sowie mit Wissenschaftler verschiedener Hochschulen und Universitäten, darunter der TH Chemie Leuna Merseburg und der Bergakademie Freiberg, wurden zahlreiche Labortests durchgeführt und Berechnungen hinsichtlich der optimalen Ausbeute in den Anlagen angestellt. UBz. Meister Otto Kakerbeck (2.v.l.) entnimmt im Neuwerk des Mineralölwerkes Lützkendorf an der Hydrierung in Anwesenheit der Laborantin Christa Graul (links) und des Diplom-Chemikers Klaus Stafge (rechts) vom WTZ Schmieröle und Schmierstoffe eine Ölprobe."
