For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ingenieure am Reissbrett Zentralbild Burmeister We-Xt 17.7.1962 Ein Konstruktionsbüro der Neuerer besteht in der Mathias-Thesen-Werft in Wismar seit Anfang des Jahres. Es hat die Aufgabe, sowohl die zahlreichen Verbesserungsvorschläge der Werktätigen durch konstruktive Bearbeitung schnell wirksam zu machen als auch eine Reihe von Vorhaben im "Plan neue Technik" zu lösen. Die Arbeiter, die bisher oft nicht unmittelbar an der Durchsetzung ihrer Vorschläge beteiligt waren, knobeln jetzt gemeinsam mit erfahrenen Ingenieuren an der Verwirklichung ihrer Ideen. UBz: Eine Gruppe von Konstrukteuren, Meistern und Arbeitern ist mit der Entwicklung einer Anlage zum automatischen Einspannen von Rohren an der Kaltkreissäge beschäftigt. Diplom Ingenieur Dieter Schulz (links) Ingenieur Armin Keinort (Mitte) und Konstrukteur Horst Müller beim Durchsprechen der Konstruktion dieser Anlagen.
