For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Ingenieure am Reissbrett Zentralbild Krueger 2.6.1962 Konstruktionsbüro für alle Ein öffentliches Konstruktionsbüro besteht im Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk in Berlin-Schöneweide, in dem auch Werktätige aus anderen Betrieben unter der Anleitung von erfahrenen Konstrukteuren ihre Verbesserungsvorschläge ausarbeiten können. Alle Zeichenmaterialien werden den Rationalisatoren und Neuerern zur Verfügung gestellt. UBz: Der Umbau einer Härtungs- und Enthärtungsmaschine für S-Bahn-Achsen wird an diesem Zeichenbrett ausgenkobelt. Meister Kurt Böhlendorf (links) und Meister Albert Suhr (rechts) fertigen unter Anleitung des Leiters des öffentlichen Konstruktionsbüros, Alfred Meinicke erste Konstruktionszeichnungen an. Dieser Vorschlag soll eine Steigerung der Arbeitsproduktivität auf ca. 180 % bringen. (Siehe auch Bild 2 N)
