For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Krüger NI-Qu 14.10.1961 CDU-Hauptvorstandssitzung in Potsdam. Mit dem Aufruf, durch gute Taten im Produktionsaufgebot in der Industrie, der sozialistischen Landwirtschaft und in allen anderen Zweigen der Volkswirtschaft, den deutschen Friedensvertrag wirksam vorzubereiten, wandte sich der Hauptvorstand der CDU am 13.10.1961 von seiner VII. Sitzung in Potsdam an die Mitglieder der Partei, an alle christlichen Bürger der DDR. UBz. Der Vorsitzende der CDU, August Bach (3.v.l.) und der Stellvertretende Generalsekretär der CDU, Wolfgang Heyl (4.v.l.) im Gespräch mit den CDU-Mitgliedern, die ihren Wehrdienst in der Nationalen Volksarmee absolvieren.
