For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Morl, Melkerbrigade im Gespräch Zentralbild Schmidt Fr 17.6.1961 Unser Beitrag zur Wahl: 49.000 l Milch über den Plan bis zum Jahresende-"Unser Bauernwort darauf", sagte Melkermeister Max Wolf aus der 625 Hektar großen LPG "Friedrich Engels" (Typ III) in Morl (Saalkreis), "am Jahresende werden wir etwa 49.000 Liter Milch über den Plan gemolken haben. Das sind je Hektar 79 Kilogramm. Dies soll der Beitrag der Melker von Morl für den schnellen Abschluß eines Friedensvertrages und zum Gelingen der Volkswahlen sein. UBz: Bürgermeister Franz Kellner (2.v.l.) überzeugt sich anhand des Milchbuches vom Leistungsstand der Kühe.
