For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Krüger NL-Qu 26.6.1960 10. CDU-Parteitag - weitere ausländische Gäste eingetroffen. Unter dem stürmischen Beifall der mehr als 1.000 Delegierten wurden am 23.6.1960, dem 2. Beratungstag des 10. CDU-Parteitages in der Erfurter Thürigenhalle eine Reihe weiterer ausländischer Gäste herzlich begrüßt, so u.a. der Erzbischof Dr. Gustav Turs aus Riga, der Generalsekretär des Katholischen Friedenskomitees der Ungarischen Volksrepublik, Dr. Lajos Varady, Prof. Maudale aus Paris sowie Gäste aus Italien und Holland. (Näheres siehe ADN-Meldung 86-208 v. 23.6.60) UBz. Propst Nikols Berestazcy, Generalsekretär des Katholischen Friedenskomitees Ungarns (rechts), im Gespräch mit einem Delegierten.
