For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Grassen, Bäuerin beim Reinigen eines Melkeimers
Zentralbild Schutt 14.5.1960 So machen es die Besten. 3000 kg milch je Kuh, das sind 1140 kg je Hektar, erzeugte die LPG "Frieden" vom Typ III in Grassen im vergangenen Jahre. Damit aber geben sich die Grassauer nicht zufrieden; auch sie folgen dem Golßener Aufruf. 1960 steigt der Rinderbestand von 72 auf 80 je 100 Hektar, der Kuhbestand vom 32 auf 37 je 100 Hektar, so daß es möglich wird, 3200 kg Milch je Kuh, das sind 1200 kg je Hektar für den Markt, zu produzieren. UBz: Tüchtige Genossenschaftsbauern wie die Melkerin Emma Beck geben den Ausschlag, daß diese hohen Ziele erreicht werden. "Seit zwei Jahren bin ich im Stall. Ich habe mich so an die Tiere gewöhnt, daß es mir leid täte, sollte ich sie wieder hergeben."
