For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Blankenfelde, Blick in den Konsum Zentralbild Martin 28.8.1959 Moderne Landverkaufsstelle des Konsum Am 10. Jahrestag der DDR besteht die Landverkaufsstelle in Blankenfelde bei Berlin ein Jahr. Die nach den modernsten Gesichtspunkten eingerichtete Verkaufsstelle ist auf Teilselbstbedienung eingerichtet. Der monatliche Umsatz stieg in dieser Zeit von 56.000, -- dm auf 80.000, -- dm. Für nicht vorhandene Waren wurde ein Bestellsystem eingeführt. Die Kunden werden vom Verkaufsstellenleiter und fünf Verkaufskräften bedient. UBz: Die Einrichtung der Landverkaufsstelle mit Teilselbstbedienung.
