For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Berzdorf, Kraftwerk Berzdorf

Zentralbild / Kahl 26.6.59. Vom Bau des Kraftwerkes Berzdorf. Zur Zeit sind die Arbeiter des VEB Spezialbau Leipzig dabei, den vierten Kühlturm im Kraftwerk Berzdorf zu errichten. Der Kühlturm wird eine Wassermenge von 15.000m³ pro Stunde um 10° Celsius herunterkühlen. Die Arbeiter vom VEB Energiebau Radebeul verlegen jetzt die 220-KV-Hochspannungsleitung von Trattendorf nach Berzdorf.
