Ministerrat beschloß Lohn- und Gehaltserhöhungen für 275.000 Arbeiter und Angestellte

Wie das Presseamt beim Ministerpräsidenten am 28.3.1959 mitteilt, hat das Präsidium des Ministerrates am 26.März 1959 Lohn- und Gehaltserhöhungen für eine weitere große Zahl von Arbeitern und Angestellten beschlossen. Die neuen Maßnahmen bringen für den größten Teil der Beschäftigten der Lebensmittelindustrie und der Deutschen Post, für die Beschäftigten in den Betrieben der Zellastoff-, Papier und Pappeerzeugung, der Reifencord- und Kunstlederherstellung sowie für die Mitarbeiter des Staatlichen Gesundheits- und Veterinärwesen mit Hochschulbildung und für weitere Beschäftigungsgruppen im staatlichen Gesundheitswesen eien beträchtliche Verbesserung ihrer Lebenslage. Das Realeinkommen von 275.000 Beschäftigten in den genannten Bereichen erhöht sich um jährlich 108 Millionen DM. Für ca. 75 00 beschäftigte der unteren Einkommensgruppen der deutschen Post, tritt die neue Lohn- und Gehaltserhöhung bereits am 1. April 1959 in Kraft.Mit Kollegen eines Postamtes in Erfurt sprach unser Bildreporter.
