For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Biscan 29.1.1959 1.200 Kühlschränke aus dem Schwermaschinenbau "Ernst Thälmann"; Der V. Parteitag der SED hatte auch den Schwermaschinenbauern die Aufgabe gestellt, in einem wesentlich schnelleren Tempo als bisher die Produktion von industriellen Kosumgütern zu steigern. Der Schwermaschinenbau "Ernst Thälmann"in Magdeburg hat im vorigen Jahr für rund 3 Millionen DM industrielle Kosumgüter hergestellt. Unter anderem wurde der Haushaltskühlschrank "Absorber" harausgebracht, der sehr leistungsstark und formschön ist und bei den Hausfrauen begeisterte Aufnahme gefunden hat. Der "Absorber" hat 45 Liter Inhalt, hat 4 bis 6 Grad Innentemüperatur bei 20 bis 25 Grad Aussentemperatur und verbraucht täglich zwei Kilowattstunden. UBz.: Schlosser Josef Stiebitz und Erika Bierotte bei der Abnahme eines fertig monteirten Schrankes. |
