For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Krueger Krue-Noa 17.4.1958 Verpflichtung zum V. Parteitag der SED. Zu Ehren des 5. Parteitages der SED übernahm die Handnäherin Berta Matthes die Verpflichtung, sich zu Ärmeleinnäherin, das ist eine der schwierigsten Positionen innerhalb des Bandes, zu qualifizieren. Hier näht Kollegin Matthes bereits Ärmel ein.
