For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Kurt Hilberg, Wolfgang Fricke, Günter Tittes Zentralbild Mihatsch 14.4.1957 Prüfungswettkämpfe im Schwimmen Am Sonnabend und Sonntag, dem 13. und 14.4. 1957, fanden im Berliner Stadtbad Mitte in der Gartenstraße Prüfungswettkämpfe im Schwimmen statt. Die gesamte DDR-Elite war am Start. UBz: Im fünften Lauf zum 100-m-brustschwimmen der Herren siegte Kurt Hilberg (SC Aufbau Magdeb., links). Wolfgang fricke (SC Einheit Dresden, Mitte) und Günter Tittes (ASK Vorwärts Berlin, rechts) gratulieren Hilberg zu seinem Sieg.
