For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Kemlitz, Bauer bei der Fellpflege Zentralbild Lausitzer Rundschau 16.5.1956 Siegfried Pangat ist für die Brigadeordnung Seit März 1956 arbeiten die Melker im VEG Kemlitz, Bez. Cottbus, nach der Brigadeordnung. Jeder Kollege hat eine bestimmte Anzahl Tiere, die ihm fest zugeteilt sind, zu pflegen, zu halten und zu füttern. Die Entlohnung der Kllegen erfolgt nicht mehr nach feststehenden Sätzen, sondern sie ist von der Leistung jedes einzelnen abhängig. Der 18jährige Melkergehilfe Sigfried Pangat ist einer der eifrigsten Verfechter dieses sozialistischen Prinzips der Entlohnung. UBz: Siegfried Pangat wartet seine Tiere besonders sorgfältig. Im Monat April verdiente Siegfried 527, -DM. Der Plan sah vor, dass seiner Gruppe 3871 (drei acht sieben eins) kg Milch zu erzeugen sind, 461 (vier sechs eins) kg konnte er aber in den vergangenen vier Wochen darüber hinaus produzieren. Für jedes Kilogramm Milch über den Plan hinaus erhielt Siegfried 0, 10 DM.
