For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Jugendstunde in der Kunsthochschule Zentralbild Bez. Red. Leipzig 14.2.1956 Rössing Sterntreffen der Teilnehmer an der Jugendweihe in Dresden Einen wichtigen erzieherischen Beitrag zur Erkennbarkeit der Entstehung der Erde und der Vorgänge auf ihr leisten die Jugendstunden, die den Jugendlichen die fortschrittliche Weltanschauung wissenschaftliche nahebringen. In der Wilhelm-Wander-Schule haben die beispielhaft durchgeführten Jugendstunden zu einer Verdreifachung der Teilnehmerzahl seit September 1954 geführt. So besuchten die Teilnehmer an den Jugendstunden die Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig, um einen Einblick in die interessante Arbeit der Hochschule zu bekommen. UBz: In der Abteilung Holzschnitt. Kollege Zürner erklärt den aufmerksamen Schülern die Entstehungsweise eines Holzschnitts.
