For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Erfurt, Augustinerkloster, Kapitelsaal, Ausstellungsraum Zentralbild TBD-Wehse 3049- 13.7.1955 Ho.- 5 Motive- Gedächtnisausstellung "Luther in Erfurt" im Augustiner Kloster zu Erfurt. Im Kapitelsaal des Augustinerklosters in Erfurt wurde am 2. Juli 1955 aus Anlaß der 450-jährigen Wiederkehr des Einrtitts Martin Luthers (am 17.7.1505) in das Kloster eine Gedächtnisausstellung eröffnet. Die Ausstellung wurde vom Archivrat Dr. Wiemann ausschließlich aus Erfurt Beständen zusammengetragen und enthält Handschriften und Briefe Luthers, Originaldrucke seiner Predigten, Pläne und Modelle Erfurts und des Augustinerklosters zur Zeit Luthers, sowie vorlutherische Bibeldrucke. UBz: Blick in die Ausstellung im Kapitelsaal des Augustinerklosters. Von vorn nach hinten: ds Rekonstruktionsmodell des Augustinerklosters, der Bibeltisch mit vorlutherischen Bibeldrucken und ein spätmittelalterlicher Flügelaltar aus Kirchheim bei Erfurt.
