For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Industriearbeiter Zahnrad prüfend Zentralbild Sturm 20 Motive 3.2.1955 "Ein Betrieb kämpft um eine Rentabilität" VEB Büromaschinenwerk Karl-Marx-Stadt (siehe Begleittext) UBz: Zu den Meistern neuen Typus zählt der Arbeitsbereichsleiter im Automatensaal und der Revolverdreherei. Sein hohes Fachwissen und seine praktischen Fertigkeiten vermittelt er den jungen Kollegen und spornt sie zum überlegten Arbeiten an. Kollege Tauscher sparte bei der Produktion des Teiles 7,3 für die Klasse 900 (Buchungsmaschine) in 14 Tagen rund 5000 Minuten ein.- Kollege Tauscher prüft ein Arbeitsstück der Reparaturschlosser.
