For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Groß-Wasserburg, Förster, Begutachtung von Bäumen ZB-Schutt-3.2.1955 Zu Ehren des 5. Jahrestages des Gesetzes zur Förderung der Jugend bat der 17jährige Jugendfreund Alfred Pieschek um Aufnahme als Kandidat in die Sozialistische Einheitspartei Deutschlands. Alfred Pieschek war zwei Jahre lang Lehrling beim Staatlichen Forstwirtschaftsbetrieb in Peitz und qualifizierte sich so schnell, dass er jetzt den Revierleiter vom Revier Groß-Wasserburg, Krs. Lübben, vertreten kann. UBz: Bei einen Kontrollgang durch das Revier untersucht Alfred Pieschek die Bäume auf Schädlingsbefall.
