Juli 1954, auf der 98 km langen Strecke Berlin - Freienwalde - Berlin die Mannschaft der BSG Einheit "Berliner Bär" mit Funda, Jährling, Kirchhoff, Malitz, Glanig und W. Gallinge in 2:30:22,5 Stunden. Mannschaftssieger bei der Jugend wurde BSG Motor "Diamant", Karl-Marx-Stadt. UBz: Jugend BSG Motor Diamant im Ziel. Luisenstraße 19 Konto Nr: Mady Meyer Spark.
