For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Bauernbild , 21.5.1954 Kulturtag auf dem Lande in Oppelhain. Als festlicher Abschluss der Frühjahrsbestellung in Oppelhain wurde von der Vereinigung für gegenseitige Bauernhilfe (BHG) für die Landbevölkerung ein Kulturtag veranstaltet. Zur grössten Freude der Bauern und Landarbeiter nahm der Stellvertreter des Ministerpräsidenten und Minister für Land- und Forstwirtschaft Paul Scholz an dem festlichen Tag teil. Ein grosses Kulturprogramm wurde gezeigt, die MTS führte ihre Geräte für Pflegearbeiten und die Erntemaschinen vor und abends wurde zum Tanz aufgespielt. UBz.: Bauern der Sportgemeinschaft Aktivist aus Plessa beim Dressurreiten.
