Zentralbild-TBD-Torka Str.-Sta. 13.2.1954 Massnahmen zur Förderung der Jugend in den volkseigenen Thüringer Bekleidungswerken in Erfurt. Im VEB Thüringer Bekleidungswerk, Erfurt, wird die 3. Anordnung zum Gesetz zur Förderung der Jugend eifrig diskutiert, da ein grosserTeil der Näherinnen Jugendliche sind. Aber auch die älteren Kolleginnen beiteiligen sich an diesen Gesprächen. UBz: Die 19jährige Jugendfreundin Christel Peter hat Schneiderin gelernt. Sie besucht die Volkshochschule, um sich beruflich weiterzuentwickeln. Sie freut sich ebenfalls über die weiteren Massnahmen zur Förderung der Jugend. "Uns stehen wiklich alle Wege offen, um uns zu qualifizieren. Es hängt nur von den Leistungen und den Fähigkeiten jedes Einzelnen ab", sagt Christel Peter, und nicht mehr vom Geld der Eltern.
